How to reach us

The best way to get in touch wih us is via either the IRC chat or our forum.

IRC

Being a retronetworking community, we tend to like the also somewhat historical chat technology IRC (Internet Relay Chat), as it is standarized, interoperable, works from old equipment and not a single-vendor platform.

You can find us on the #retronetworking channel on https://libera.chat/. They have a guide on how to connect covering both native IRC connections as well as a webchat gateway that they operate.

Here's a direct link to our channel using the libera.chat webchat client.

When you join the IRC channel and ask a question, please stick around long enough for somebody to respond to you, keeping in mind that most of us do have a dayjob and might only read your messages at certain hours of the day.

Forum

We have a retronetworking section on discourse.osmocom.org. In order to post you need to register an account via the Sign Up button; that account registrtion first needs to be confirmed by a moderator to prevent spam bots from posting spam. We usually should approve new account requests within 1-2 days.

We welcome any question, comment, contribution or other communication that falls within the goals/scope of our project. Don't be shy. We're happy to engage with you!
