BTX stands for Bildschirmtext, the German incarnation of the Videotex concept. Other national incarnations of Videotex are

  • Ibertex (Spain)

  • Minitel (France)

  • Prestel (UK)

  • Videotel (Italy)

We also started a bit to collect, document, maintain and restore some BTX equipment. However, there are other groups with a specific focus only on BTX which have much larger collections, knowledge and experience with it. We're happy to refer you to the BTX-Museum.
